My name is Uli Burns, I love animals and have been painting them ever since I was given my first pencil at the age of three. Since then, I've become a professional artist and still love painting and drawing animals.

I believe that pets are our friends, companions and much loved family members. To celebrate this bond and keep our special friends forever in our memories, pet portraits, created here at Studio Burns, are unique keepsakes for you to treasure and can make perfect gifts for family and friends. My pet portraits are lovingly handcrafted and beautiful original paintings. I take great pride in capturing not only the likeness but also the unique personality of your treasured pets in exquisit quality works of art.

Pet portraits are usually created from photos you provide and range in price, depending on style, medium and size, starting from just $50. If you are living in the Illawarra region of NSW, a photo session at a location of your choice can be arranged for a small fee.

I will keep you updated on the progress of your painting via email, internet or with a printout by mail once we received your order and down payment. After the painting is finished and approved by you, it is send to you by courier or certified mail, together with the photos you provided, as soon as your final payment has been received. Please allow around 6 to 8 weeks for completion. Please advise me if your painting needs to be ready for a special occasion and at a set date, so I can arrange a suitable timeframe.
